The Divine Tulsi Plant

How to Use Your Tulsi Mala
Japa Meditation
Hold the mala in your right hand, draped over your middle finger. Use your thumb to pull each bead towards you while chanting your mantra. The meru bead (the large bead) should not be crossed. Turn the mala around and continue when you reach it.

Kanthi malas can be worn around the neck as a symbol of devotion. Wear your Tulsi mala at all times to maintain a connection with the divine. It can be worn while eating, sleeping, and during daily activities.
Caring for Your Mala
